#1 voted coffee business Sambalatte opens the new store off Highway 215 and Jones

(Las Vegas) – Sambalatte, the award-winning coffee-sanctuary that has gained recognition as one of the valley’s premiere coffee restaurants, opened its second location in Las Vegas January 24, 2014. The new location will be in southwest Las Vegas, off Jones Road and the 215 freeway at 6555 S. Jones Blvd. A third Sambalatte restaurant is planned for Spring of 2014 within the new MGM Resorts International entertainment project, which is transforming the front facades of the Monte Carlo into an outdoor plaza experience featuring a series of casual bars, eateries and retail destinations. The two additional location openings will create approximately 40 new jobs.

The new Sambalatte store will feature familiar, delicious Sambalatte coffee, unique brewing techniques, savory foods, including new menu items such as Italian and Spanish cold tapas, a drive-thru window, and a grab-and-go open food case. In addition, the new location will have a spacious covered patio seating area with a fire pit, fireplace, flatscreen televisions and community lounging that will accommodate up to 60 guests, free Wi-Fi, available power sources and more. Known for being environmentally friendly, supporting local businesses and providing superior customer service, Sambalatte will continue to create a diverse social environment.

Oliveira partnered with local designers, NOVUS architect, for the new location design. The new location will feature state-of-the-art technology and equipment, including the Steampunk MOD 4.1 machine from Alpha Dominica. The technology features a new Human Machine Interface (HMI) touch-screen operating system that is operated off a Google Nexus 7 smart phone app. A new Linea PB machine from La Marzocco gives baristas control over, including boiler temperatures, brewing volume, hot water tap dose and auto-backflush.
