Marketplace Chaplains Celebtrates 30 Years of Service with Record Growth, Banquet
DALLAS, Texas – Marketplace Ministries, America’s largest and original workplace chaplaincy organization, providing onsite chaplains to more than 400 corporations worldwide – Fortune 500 to family-owned – is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year with record growth.
The Dallas-based company began with a single chaplain and one small Dallas-area company in 1984, more than 9,500 days ago, but is now serving nearly 100 companies in North Texas alone, along with 44 states, in 773 cities and 5 foreign countries.
Marketplace Chaplains USA, Marketplace Chaplains International, Railroad Chaplains of America, and Marketplace Ministries Foundation are the four subsidiaries of Marketplace Ministries. Today, the corporate service organization has 2,469 chaplains serving 411 companies with 450,000 workers and their family members.
Plans for the quarter century celebration include a gala Integrity Award banquet, September 1, at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas, Texas, celebrating the unprecedented accomplishments of this unique business services organization.
