Community Coffee Co. Announces New Manufacturing Promotions

Nicole Lavella - CC_Primary_RGB_300dpiBaton Rouge, LA – Today, Community Coffee Company announced the promotions of two of its leaders in its manufacturing division.

Frank Mays is now Senior Director of Operations. Mays joined the company a year ago as Director of Manufacturing. Mays has over 23 years of manufacturing and supply chain experience. He has worked for top Fortune 500 companies where he gained manufacturing, engineering, quality, procurement, leadership and business operations experience. He is a former U.S. Navy Nuclear Submarine Lieutenant. Mays earned a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering at the U.S. Naval Academy, MD and his MBA in operations management at Union College, NY.

Jonathan Powell is now General Manager of Manufacturing. Powell joined the company this past year as Processing Manager. Powell has over 7 years of manufacturing and engineering experience. He gained business operations experience with national and international food and beverage companies where he implemented and led multiple process improvement plans. He has a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering with a minor in sociology, international business, physics, and mathematics from the University of Arkansas.
