VITAMIX INTRODUCES NEW LINEUP OF COLORED ADVANCE CONTAINERS
Containers Help Prevent Cross-Contact,
Improve Speed of Service and Efficiency
CLEVELAND – Vitamix®, a world leader in high-performance blending equipment for home and commercial use, presents Advance® blender containers in several new color options. The colored containers promote food safety by reducing the potential for allergen cross-contact, and improve speed of service. Available colors include blue, orange, purple and yellow. Each container comes with a matching colored lid, further reducing the opportunity for cross-contact.
Foodservice establishments will see numerous benefits from having multiple colored containers on-hand. The primary advantage is preventing possible allergen contact. According to Food Allergy Research and Education (FARE), as many as 15 million people in the U.S. currently have food allergies. By identifying and using specific colored blender containers for recipes that contain ingredients such as dairy, nuts or soy, operators can protect their patrons with food-based allergies from coming into contact with ingredients that could possibly be harmful to them. Utilizing several unique containers can also reduce wait times, as operators can quickly identify the correct, designated container for specific blends.
“We developed new colored Advance containers as a solution for foodservice operators who are looking to ensure guests’ wellbeing, while continuing to promote optimal efficiency,” said Lisa Klein, vice president of Commercial Sales, Vitamix. “The containers also help operators comply with a growing number of allergen-related food safety regulations set forth by state and local authorities.”
The new line of colored Advance containers are constructed from Eastman TritanTM copolyester material, which provides a great balance of impact strength, chemical resistance and shatter resistance over the life of the product. Clear Tritan containers are also available for order. Advance containers have a unique design and built-in dripless spout that improves pourability, preventing mess and waste. This results in a substantial time and cost savings, as well as an overall improved customer experience.
Vitamix machines with Advance containers include The Quiet One®, Drink Machine Advance®, Blending Station® Advance®, T&G® 2 Blending Station®, BarBoss® Advance® and Portion Blending System® Advance®.
