Coffee Fest and Torani Debut Drink Innovation Lab

Coffee Fest Chicago 2015 will offer the first Drink Innovation Lab presented by Torani

Chicago, IL (March 19, 2015) – Coffee Fest brings you the NEW Drink Innovation Lab presented by Torani. This two and a half hour workshop will give Café owners and operators the tools they need to get creative, expand their menu offerings and ultimately increase their bottom line. Coffee Fest Chicago 2015 will debut the Drink Innovation Lab June 5-7, 2015, at Navy Pier. This 2.5 hour workshop will allow coffeehouse managers and owners to learn about current drink trends and explore endless opportunities in menu development.

Drink Innovation Lab will include five innovation stations covering: lemonade, iced tea and hand crafted sofas, brewing techniques, indulgent beverages, frappes, and chai. Participants will learn how to approach menu innovation, diversify product usage, increase offerings, attract new customers and collaborate with their peers.

Breaks are incorporated into the program which will allow attendees to write down their take-away from each station in their passport recipe book. These break opportunities are a great time to brainstorm ideas with other attendees. All attendees will also receive a goodie bag and an exclusive Drink Innovation lab jacket when completing the course.

“We want to take away the fear in menu development and empower the managers and owners,” said David Heilbrunn, show manager of Coffee Fest. “The Drink Innovation Lab will help participants realize which target audience to promote which drinks to and how to advertise those creations to their customers.” Drink Innovation Lab is presented by Torani and brought to you each day of Coffee Fest Chicago from 9:30 am – 12:00 pm for only $49.

About Coffee Fest
Coffee Fest has been celebrating coffee long before coffee was “hot”. In 1992, they gathered coffee professionals together in Seattle for their first coffee festival. After several years of hosting thriving consumer events, Coffee Fest turned its focus toward the specialty coffee, gourmet tea and alternative beverage industry bringing retailers, distributors and manufacturers together for its first retail “trade only show” in 1998. With a mission to help attendees build and refine their specialty coffee businesses, they coupled a relevant educational program with a friendly, informative, and enjoyable trade show floor creating a successful show that serves as a touchstone for many in the specialty coffee industry. Today Coffee Fest produces three trade shows annually, strategically positioned in the eastern, central and western United States.
