Thousands of people from more than 100 countries will converge on Dublin next June 23-25 for World of Coffee, Europe’s greatest coffee gathering.

Owned and organised by the Speciality Coffee Association of Europe (SCAE), World of Coffee is the flagship event in the European coffee calendar, bringing thousands of coffee professionals and those from beyond the core coffee community from across the globe together for a three-day celebration of coffee each June.

Bookings for World of Coffee 2016 are already ahead of target, with over 70% of stand space secured as restauranteurs, hoteliers, café owners, foodservice operators, chain operators, buyers, baristas and roasters will come together under one roof to celebrate this burgeoning industry, learn, educate and network and continue to provide the very best for their customers both nationally and internationally. Staging World of Coffee 2016 in Dublin, the city of 100,000 welcomes, was a perfect choice for SCAE, explains Executive Director, David Veal.

Sweet Sixteen – Sixteen Years in the Making
From humble beginnings in a hotel conference room in Monte Carlo in 2000, this celebration of coffee continued to grow and make its way to a different European city each year taking in Cologne, London, Maastricht, Vienna, Nice, Rimini and the excellent 2015 Gothenburg event to name just a few. The event, alongside the industry, has grown exponentially to become what is now Europe’s greatest coffee gathering and one of the world’s pre-eminent coffee events bringing thousands of coffee professionals and enthusiasts together. World of Coffee will continue to tour Europe in the coming years and will visit Budapest in 2017, Amsterdam in 2018 and Berlin in 2019.
