John Buckner, vice president of marketing for S&D Coffee & Tea, will lead a discussion forum at the upcoming Restaurant Leadership Conference, to be held April 3-6 in Phoenix.
In Buckner’s educational session, “Millennial Coffee Drinkers & the Role of Sustainability,” attendees will learn more about young coffee drinkers (YCD): the key demographic for away-from-home coffee consumption and growth. Highly engaged with the coffee category, YCDs are concerned with how coffee got here and how it was made — making sustainability an important value that not only indicates high quality, but also positively impacts their affinity with the establishment.
