J.H. “Jay” Campbell, Jr. Joins Board of Community Coffee Company
Baton Rouge, LA — Today, Community Coffee Company announced the election of J. H. “Jay” Campbell, Jr. to its Board of Directors. He joins eight other board members of this 97-year-old, family-owned and operated coffee company.
J. H. “Jay” Campbell, Jr. most recently served as Executive Chairman at Associated Grocers, Inc. Associated Grocers (AG) is a Baton Rouge-based retailer-owned organization committed to serving independent retail grocers in Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas. Campbell has spent over 45 years with AG including serving as President and Chief Executive Officer for 20 years.
Campbell’s experience as a Board member for multiple for-profit and non-profit entities includes serving on boards and committees for Shurfine International, Inc., National Grocers Association (NGA), Topco Associates, LLC, Food Marketing Institute (FMI), Public Affairs Research Council (PAR) and the Louisiana Association of Business and Industry (LABI), among many others. The non-profit entities he supports range by topic from education to coastal restoration to community service. Campbell is also a member of the Baton Rouge and Louisiana State Bar Associations.
Campbell has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Louisiana State University and a Juris Doctor from Louisiana State University Law Center.
