New sales manager for coffee portfolio at Bosch Packaging Technology, Inc.

The coffee industry is ever-evolving and constantly in need of more efficient manufacturing methods as well as technologies that promote ease of use and convenience. As such, companies are turning to industry experts to meet these challenges.

Bosch Packaging Technology has provided many fully integrated packaging solutions to the industry and will continue to serve the changing needs of coffee roasters in an even more personalized manner with the appointment of its first industry-specific sales manager. Alden Schiavi will serve as North American sales manager for Bosch’s coffee portfolio, bringing with him nearly 20 years of experience in the packaging materials and machinery industry for the coffee market.

“With his comprehensive industry knowledge, Schiavi truly understands the market needs and can provide valuable guidance to our customers when it comes to selecting the most suitable Bosch solution, from entry-level options to fully integrated systems,” said Paul Jenks, director of sales and marketing, Bosch Packaging Technology, New Richmond.

Schiavi’s capabilities in marketing, communications, and sales combined with his in depth knowledge of the coffee industry are essential for his new role at Bosch. “I am excited to translate my knowledge and understanding of client needs in the coffee sector to the Bosch brand and foster long-lasting relationships,” said Schiavi.

Schiavi will be present at the following events to promote Bosch’s recently launched spout bag for whole bean coffee and to discuss other innovations: National Coffee Association (NCA) Annual Convention (March 23 to 25, 2017; Austin, Texas), Speciality Coffee Association’s (SCA) Global Specialty Coffee Expo (April 20 to 23, 2017; Seattle, Washington, booth #1001) and interpack 2017 (May 4 to 10, 2017; Düsseldorf, Germany, Hall 6, booth #C58).
