Seattle-based Victrola Coffee Roasters sponsors driver Blake Mount and JDX Racing in Formula 4 Championship
Seattle-based Victrola Coffee Roasters steps into auto racing in 2017 as a sponsor for driver Blake Mount (# 7) of JDX Racing (JDX) and Mount Motorsports. Mount will be sporting Victrola Coffee Roasters’ “colors” as the Formula 4 (F4) US Championship Series kicks off this weekend (April 8-9) at the Homestead-Miami Speedway in Homestead, FL.
Mount is a rising star in the F4 Championship series – created by the International Automobile Federation (IAF) as an entry for young racing drivers into open-wheel racing. It is part of the FIA Global Pathway designed to assist a driver’s progression to Formula One racing.
“It’s a high-octane combination of an exciting young driver, a winning race team and premium coffee in a highly competitive racing series,” said Joshua D. Boyt, Victrola Coffee Roasters’ director of sales and marketing. “JDX, the reigning F4 Championship team, Mount Motorsports and Victrola Coffee Roasters share a dedication to excellence. It’s a great fit.”
With six major racing venues across the U.S. and Canada, including the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Boyt said the F4 U.S. Championship series provides marketing and visibility opportunities for Victrola Coffee Roasters to support its growth across North America.
“Having Victrola Coffee Roasters on board for the No. 7 car will make for a great combination to start off the year,’ said Blake Mount.
A resident of Denver, Blake enters his second year on the F4 series, having claimed second in the 2016 F2000 US Majors Tour at Road Atlanta, and a win in the Atlantic Series Winter Exhibition.
