Royal Cup Releases 2017 Sustainability Statement
Royal Cup Coffee and Tea has released its 2017 Sustainability Statement. Below are some highlights:
- Royal Cup recycled over 855.56 tons of waste and saved 10,266 trees last year.
- Through its sustainability program, the company saved over 3.81 million kWh of energy, which is enough energy to power 283 homes for an entire year.
- Royal Cup partnered with The University of Alabama at Birmingham to sponsor “Team Alabama” in the U.S. Department of Energy’s 2017 Solar Decathlon.
- Royal Cup partnered with Neverthirst to bring clean water to underserved countries and has donated nearly $30,000 in just three months.
