The reuse revolution started in 2008 in a Melbourne café as a simple idea: keep it and use it again… design and make a barista standard reusable cup so people can enjoy better coffee on the go. Today the KeepCup is embraced all over the world. KeepCup reusers have saved an estimated 3.5 billion disposable cups from landfill and this is just the beginning.
We are the proud Sustainability Sponsor of the 2013 Melbourne International Coffee Expo and the World Barista Championships held 23-26 May 2013.
Locals, we would love to see you there.
Use your KeepCup or any reusable during the event, and we will wash them with speed and pleasure at one of our three ‘Salute the Reuser’ wash stations.
For each wash we are donating 10c to Coffee Kids, who support families in coffee growing areas, roughly the cost of a disposable cup and lid. We are hoping to raise $3000 by washing about 30,000 Keepcups over the 4 days. We’ll keep you posted.
