Todd Goldsworthy Wins 2014 U.S. Brewers Cup at The 26th Annual SCAA Event

LONG BEACH, Calif. U.S.A. (May 1, 2014) — Todd Goldsworthy of Klatch Coffee in Los Angeles, CA has been named the winner of the 2014 United States Brewers Cup. The U.S. Brewers Cup was created to recognize and celebrate the art of manual coffee brewing. The Official Title Sponsor of the 2014 U.S. Brewers Cup is Bonavita.

The top six U.S. Brewers Cup competitors for 2014 are:

1st Place – Todd Goldsworthy , Klatch Coffee, Los Angeles, CA

3rd Place – Anthony Auger, Kaldi’s Coffee, St. Louis, MO

During the Brewers Cup, skilled coffee tasters judge each of the 18 competitors in two rounds. The first round is a blind tasting, the competitors all brew the same coffee on their chosen manual deceives. Those who advance to the second round will brew and present their chosen coffee to the judges’ panel.

Todd Goldsworthy will represent the United States at the World Brewers Cup in Rimini, Italy, June 9-12, 2014 courtesy of travel sponsor DaVinci Gourmet.
