Los Angeles, CA (April 14, 2014) – The Groundwork Coffee Company has been selected to be the Official Coffee Supplier to the AEG Facilities-operated Los Angeles Convention Center it was announced today by Brad Gessner, Sr. Vice President & General Manager, Los Angeles Convention Center.  Additionally, the multi-year agreement names the Los Angeles-based Groundwork Coffee Company as the operator of the facilities’ retail coffee locations which are part of the LACC’s newly branded ‘Taste of LA’ refreshment and dining locations.  In addition to Groundwork Coffee being served at all retail locations throughout the LACC, the exclusive agreement also calls for Groundwork Coffee to supply all coffee product used in the catering operations within the facility.

New retail Groundwork stores are being installed in the West and South Halls of the Los Angeles Convention Center and will be open for business in mid April.  Guests who come to the Los Angeles Convention Center will have the opportunity to visit the full service, stand-alone Groundwork concession stands that will provide coffee beverages. Contemporary meets vintage in the design of both of the Groundwork locations at the LACC. Reclaimed wood panels contrast with stainless steel counter-tops and hand-painted menu boards are perched on the wall behind a cutting-edge, La Marzocco espresso machine, bringing together elements to create a feeling of familiarity and warmth with a progressive, LA-inspired twist, a perfect blend.  Groundwork certified organic coffee will also be served at all other food and beverage locations throughout the South and West Halls of the LACC.
