Athena of Silverland Bakery Develops New Gluten Free Flavors to Launch at NRA, Chicago IL

[Chicago, IL] – Silverland Bakery, a commercial purveyor of brownies, bakery bars, natural food bars and cookies, has announced that they will expand their gluten free offerings with a Gluten Free Caramel Brownie and Lemon Bar at the National Restaurant Show in Chicago IL, May 17-20 in booth number 7871.

Following the wild success of the Gluten Free Flourless Chocolate Brownie, Athena Uslander, Founder and President, and her daughter, Leila Uslander, Director of Marketing, have decided to expand the gluten free line with a Gluten Free Lemon Bar and a Gluten Free Caramel Brownie.

“Gluten Free is not going away, and I have developed a proprietary, gluten free flour blend to achieve products that are as good as, or better than the conventional products they are modeled after.” Athena, a, structural engineer, Dove model, wellness enthusiast and of course, baking goddess, has been crafting handmade food products at the helm of Silverland Bakery for thirty one years.

Rich, gluten-free chocolate brownie batter topped with caramel and semi sweet chocolate chips. Made with our own gluten free flour blend, the only brownie on the market with the gooey, chewy caramel texture on the top, is now offered gluten free.


Tart and tangy lemon curd hand ladled on a buttery homemade gluten free shortbread crust made with our own gluten free flour blend. All baked together and topped with a dusting of powdered sugar.
