Coperaco Releases “Farm” as the Second Episode of Coffee Video Series

May 4, 2017, New York, NY – Boutique coffee company, Coperaco, today released the second installment of an inspirational coffee video series that takes viewers through the journey that they embark on, from seed to cup. The video, titled “Farm” follows Julio Maya, a coffee farmer in Santa Barbara Estate, Colombia, through the process of growing and selecting the right coffee beans.
Santa Barbara Estate was established by Don Pedro Echavarria almost three decades ago with the vision of producing a superior quality Colombian Coffee. This Estate is one of the few completely integrated coffee farms in Colombia, which ensures traceability and close quality control from seed to cup. A combination of factors such as climate, altitude, constant care, renovation of trees, and good volcanic soil provide the basis for excellent coffee production. Education and incentive programs encourage the workers to focus on quality rather than quantity. The highly technological wet and dry mill processing, coupled with attention to detail and daily cupping, enables the Santa Barbara Estate to deliver an exceptional and consistent high-quality Colombian coffee.
The beautifully shot 3 minute video, directed by Lucas Fuica and produced by Coperaco, takes viewers inside art of cultivating coffee beans, guided by a family tradition that Julio Maya follows in his farm, surrounded by luscious mountains and beautiful scenery.
This video comes as a second episode to Coperaco’s “Every Cup is a Journey” campaign (#everycupisajourney) which aims at giving a closer look at how the premium coffee roaster views their process as a journey that begins with the search for the perfect bean, building relationships with farmers and local communities. As such, this campaign is also an effort to show the importance and appreciation for all their partners, clients, and green coffee producers who are all part of the journey commemorating its 3rd year in business.
