RECALL: Trader Joe's Matcha Green Tea Ice Cream
ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — According to a recall email from Trader Joe’s, there may be small pieces of metal in its Matcha Green Tea Ice Cream.
“We are voluntarily recalling all lot codes of Trader Joe’s Matcha Green Tea Ice Cream (SKU# 055740) because of the potential presence of small metal pieces in the product,” wrote the company in a recall notice.
No injuries or illnesses have been reported to date.
The store says that potentially affected product has been removed from store shelves and destroyed.
If you purchased Trader Joe’s Matcha Green Tea Ice Cream, please do not eat it. Trader Joe’s urges you to discard the product or return it to any Trader Joe’s for a full refund.
