Milo’s Celebrates New Teas and Global Tea Championship

At the 2017 Global Tea Championship, the third-generation family owned and certified Woman Owned Business was chosen as a winner again for Milo’s Famous Sweet Tea. This is the seventh year in a row for Milo’s Teas to place or win in the Global Tea Championship (formerly the North American Tea Championship).
“My grandfather, Milo, was always focused on the customer,” Milo’s CEO Tricia Wallwork said. “71 years later, our team continues to focus on and celebrate our loyal fans across the country who have helped us share the Milo’s Difference.”
With the addition of NEW Milo’s Limited Edition Peach Tea and Famous Sweet Tea in a convenient ½ gallon bottle and three New Milo’s Organic Teas, it is clear that Milo’s still listens to their customers.
Southern Living Magazine recognized the Milo’s Difference in a recent feature stating, “What we love most about Milo’s Sweet Tea is that it’s made exactly the same way as it was on day one—just the same as my grandmother makes it: fresh-brewed tea, water, and sugar.” *
With so much to celebrate, including National Iced Tea Month, Milo’s is thanking their loyal fans with Facebook giveaways all June. To enter the numerous giveaways, fans can simply follow the instructions on Milo’s Facebook page at: facebook.com/MilosTea
About Milo’s Tea CompanyMilo’s Tea Company is a family owned, certified Woman Owned Business located in Bessemer, AL. Milo’s was founded as a restaurant in 1946 by Milo and Bea Carlton after Milo returned from serving our country in World War II. Milo’s philosophy was simple – use high quality, fresh, natural ingredients, listen to your customers and never sacrifice taste. In 1989, Milo’s began selling their fresh brewed Famous Sweet Tea to local Birmingham grocery stores and now Milo’s beverages can be found in thousands of retailers across the United States.  Milo and Bea’s vision still guides the company today as Milo’s continues to source natural ingredients, fresh brew all of their teas and never use colors, added acids or preservatives.  Read the simple ingredient list on their juices and teas, and you will see the Difference. Drink Milo’s and Taste the Difference.
