New JURA IMPRESSA F8 TFT Wins 2014 Red Dot Product Design Award

For 60 years, the internationally recognized Red Dot seal has been awarded to products for creativity, innovation and quality. This year, the winners were chosen by an independent jury of 40 design professionals and leading industry specialists. The IMPRESSA F8 TFT prevailed over nearly 5,000 other entries from 1,900 companies in 53 countries.

JURA combines sophisticated technological breakthroughs and compact class convenience with the new JURA IMPRESSA F8 TFT. Designed for today’s digital age consumers, it makes it easy to prepare your favorite specialty coffees in a flash, from coffee to lungo, café crème, espresso, cappuccino or latte macchiato.

A simple Rotary Switch makes operation easy. Simply turn it to see a list of specialty coffees on the display, and then select your choice.  Four beverages can be individually programmed on the start screen and assigned any name.  Programming is easy and intuitive.

JURA’s innovative Aroma+ grinder is designed to make coffee pleasure an explosion of aromas.  It grinds fresh beans gently, yet at twice the speed, just before brewing.  This fast, precise grinding action preserves more flavor and aroma.

The IMPRESSA F8 TFT can produce latte macchiato and cappuccino quickly and easily. The machine’s advanced frothing system features JURA’s fine foam technology, for delicious milk foam with a feather-light consistency.

JURA’s Intelligent Pre Brew Aroma System extracts maximum flavor and aroma from any blend or roast of coffee. The machine utilizes Thermoblock technology at 15 bars of pressure, preparing superior espresso or crema coffee cup by cup. Height-adjustable spouts accommodate cups or glasses as tall as 4½ inches. An aroma preservation cover for the bean container keeps beans fresh right in the machine.

The JURA IMPRESSA F8 TFT measures 11 by 14 by 17½ inches and comes in Piano Black. Swiss designed and Swiss engineered, it will available for shipment in August 2014, with an actual retail price of $2,199.
