IN HIS NEW BOOK, “GOD CRIES AND AN ANGEL LOSES ITS WINGS”, FRANK LANZKRON-TAMARAZO CHRONICLES THE IMPORTANCE OF COMMUNITY AND THE ROLE ATTITUDE PLAYS IN REGARDS TO LAUNCHING A SUCCESSFUL BUSINESS
* The level of love and burning enthusiasm for what one does can make or break a business
FERNDALE, MI – Walk into Chazzano Coffee Roasters at 1737 Nine Mile Road in Ferndale, MI and you won’t find teacakes and bagels, milk, sweeteners, cream or other so-called coffee flavor enhancers. No food is served or allowed in, and cream and sweeteners are out of site and available only upon request.
Instead, what you will find is that you are greeted with a warm smile, a sincere hello, and an invitation to enjoy a coffee experience like no other. Frank Lanzkron-Tamarazo believes that every time someone adds something to a cup of coffee, “God Cries and an Angel Loses its Wings”.
That is the title of his new book, which discusses the role that community and attitude play in regards to launching a successful business, building a healthy synagogue or church, or any endeavor in life. Frank’s book, which sells for $9.99, has already sold over 500 copies and is available at Chazzano Coffee, through Amazon.com in paperback or Kindle format, Barnes and Noble, Michigan Book Boutique, and the Ferndale Public Library, to name a few, and will soon be out in audio book form.
In the book, Frank discusses in much detail how important it is that the customer gets a positive first impression of an establishment in order to guarantee repeat business and glowing reviews to family and friends through conversation and social media. Frank also discusses how this same positive attitude, along with educating clients/customers, all the while networking, can help build healthy congregations in synagogues and churches.
“I can’t begin to tell you how many times I have gone to a restaurant, business, or place of worship and not having been greeted by anyone,” says Frank. “The first thing I think is, ‘does this establishment want me here or not?’ That first contact with a potential customer or client has to be friendly, warm, and sincere, or face the consequences of having them not return. The key to launching and building a successful business is establishing long lasting relationships, and that starts with the first impression, whether it’s a simple hello from the owner or an employee.”
“Another very important key to building a successful business is to love what you do and have a burning desire to do it well. But equally important to the first impression is the last impression. For restaurant goers, it’s that last sip of expertly brewed coffee, and I honestly believe that last taste can be the deciding factor as to whether or not a patron returns. Wine has about 750 flavanoids while coffee has over 1,500. Like wine, knowing how to pair coffee with a person’s palette, whether at our coffee Café or at a fine restaurant is key.”
“It’s important to live a life where you marvel at your own product or service daily because if you have that excitement, it will be transmitted to your clients or customers, and can even spark your employees to have that same persona. Great respect is given to someone or some organization that can pair love with integrity and rigidity of purpose. That leads to satisfied customers and repeat business, which creates a healthy business and a growing bottom line.”
