Brooklyn-Based Coffee Roaster Launches CAFF Pure Black Cold Brew
CAFF Coffee Brings Cold Brew to New York City
BROOKLYN, New York – July 2015 – Veteran coffee shop owner, now roaster, Abraham Sitt, today announced the launch of a new line of cold brew coffee, CAFF, now available in New York City.
CAFF is a pure black, ready-to-drink cold brew coffee that is brewed and bottled by hand in Brooklyn. Each batch is made by steeping a special blend of freshly roasted coffee in water overnight, then removing the grounds using a two-step filtration process.
“We’ve been brewing coffee for years for UR Cup coffee shops,” said Abraham Sitt, founder of CAFF. “We are excited to bring our quality product to the cold-brew market.”
CAFF has a chocolate and caramel finish that is strong but smooth. CAFF cold brew can be mixed with milk or served straight over ice. Since the cold water cannot break down certain elements in the coffee beans, the process extracts more caramel, chocolate and nutty notes that is smoother and less acidic.
CAFF cold brew is now available for purchase at FIYA Dumbo, Belleville Bus.Cor. Panama, A La Moda, Designers Paradise Inc, Short and Sweet, A Touch of Panache, Periwinkle and many other retailers, as well as online with via caffcoffee.com.
The CAFF name refers to the slang term for a London café in the 1930s. The art-deco logo pays homage to the high street design.
In addition to our ready-to-drink cold brew, CAFF coffee brings a variety of beans for coffee drinkers who prefer to brew their own at home. Importing from all over the world, our house blend and seasonal espresso offerings are roasted to optimum capacity, resulting in a hearty and bright cup of coffee that satisfies even the most discerning coffee-drinker palate.
