Capital One 360 and Peet’s Coffee & Tea Expand Relationship in 360 Cafés

McLean, Va. (August 25, 2014) – Capital One 360 and Peet’s  Coffee & Tea today announced an expanded relationship that is designed to deliver a more personalized Customer experience in Capital One 360 Cafés . As part of the expanded relationship, the Cafés will include a full-service Peet’s Coffee & Tea store complete with trained baristas making handcrafted coffee, espresso and tea beverages and serving fresh food, while 360 Associates will focus on providing Customers the financial support, tools and advice they need when they need it.  The newly expanded Capital One 360 Cafés are located in New York, Boston, Chicago, Philadelphia, San Francisco and St. Cloud.

Capital One 360 Cafés bring banking and living together by offering a space where Customers can recharge their bank accounts, their devices and their lives, try out digital and financial tools all while savoring a great cup of Peet’s. They also serve as a community hub, bringing people together for events and education, with free meeting space for non-profit groups, financial literacy seminars and savings events, and local consumer events.

The 360 Cafés have been serving Peet’s drip and espresso coffee for more than a decade, since the first one opened in New York City in 2001. With this expanded relationship, Peet’s full-service stores will be in 360 Cafés in the coming months. Peet’s will also offer tea, bagged coffee, artistan baked items, fresh food as well as other merchandise. Since Peet’s opened its first store in Berkeley, Calif. in 1966, the company has been dedicated to crafting the highest quality, hand roasted coffee using the world’s best coffee beans, and maintaining a strict standard of freshness.
