Orleans Coffee Reorganizes Leadership and Expands Focus

KENNER, Louisiana – Orleans Coffee has undergone a recent ownership change. The company will continue to provide high-end coffees and allied product lines to specialty coffeehouses while expanding availability via grocery and other retail channels.

Bob Arceneaux has been in the coffee business for over twenty-five years, and is a two-time member of the Roasters Guild Executive Council of the Specialty Coffee Association of America. He will continue to oversee day-to-day operations while also leading expanded marketing and distribution efforts.

“We will continue to raise the quality of the coffees we purchase, roast, and sell,” says Arceneaux, owner of Orleans Coffee. “We will also prioritize barista training and education as we expand across the Gulf South.”

Kirk Knipmeyer and Mark Kennedy will remain in customer support roles while assuming new equipment sales and barista training responsibilities. Previous co-owner Tom Oliver has left the company to pursue other business interests.

“We will maintain our emphasis on product line innovation while expanding availability to a larger customer audience,” adds Mr. Arceneaux.
