Community Coffee Company Kicks Off Community Cash for Schools® Program
Community Coffee Company is proud to announce the start of its 29th annual Community Cash for Schools® program, which helps schools earn money by collecting Proofs of Purchase from all Community® brand products.
Last year, approximately 800 schools participated in the Community Cash for Schools® program and earned over $321,000 for their teachers and students. The top earning school, The Church Academy in St. Amant, Louisiana, earned over $3,895 alone.
“For nearly 30 years the Community Cash for Schools® program has helped schools earn what they need to provide a high-quality education,” said David Belanger, President and CEO of Community Coffee Company. “We are grateful once again to be able to support our local students and communities.”
Since the program’s inception, Community Coffee Company has helped public and private schools generate over $7 million. These funds are used for programs and initiatives that best serve students’ needs, such as new playground equipment, textbooks, computers, whiteboards, school events and more.
In order to participate, students, teachers and their local communities work together to collect Proof of Purchase labels from Community® coffee and tea products purchased at grocery stores, hotels and businesses. As a whole, schools then submit the labels as instructed at CommunityCoffee.com/CashforSchools. Once submitted, these product Proofs of Purchase are redeemed for cash that each school can allocate at its discretion.
To sign up, school administrators should visit CommunityCoffee.com/CashforSchools and click on the “Enroll Now” link. Before enjoying a rich, smooth cup of Community® coffee, customers should remember to save Proof of Purchase labels from all Community® products. After collecting these labels, school administrators can then download the Tracking Form online and bundle all labels as instructed.
Community® coffee is available for purchase on the company website and at grocery stores throughout the Southeast region of the United States. For more information, please visit CommunityCoffee.com.
