Introducing the OXO Good Grips Cold Brew Coffee Maker

The OXO Good Grips Cold Brew Coffee Maker is arriving in stores nationwide in mid-November and we couldn’t be more excited. The Cold Brew Coffee Maker represents our second entry into the ever growing coffee making arena. During the development process, we became quite enamored with the smooth taste of Cold Brew. In fact, on any given day at the OXO office, you can find at least one carafe of concentrate in the refrigerator.

The process of making cold brew is quite easy and offers many advantages: a concentrate that lasts up to two weeks in the refrigerator, a smooth taste that has been described as velvety, a coffee with significantly less acid than hot brewed coffee (something the millions of Americans who suffer acid reflux will appreciate), and the option of being served hot or cold. And while the origin of cold brew is unclear (there are quite a few stories percolating from various geographic regions), what is clear is that the concept of cold brew is growing and here to stay.

The OXO Cold Brew Coffee Maker has several distinct features, like the Rainmaker, stainless steel reusable filter, and an attractive glass carafe with measurement markings. Also, it is designed to be an item that blends in with most kitchen countertop items but also nests for compact storage.

Product Features:

Glass Carafe & Stopper: The Cold Brew Coffee Maker comes with a Glass Carafe and Stopper. The Carafe is made of borosilicate glass, a high-quality glass that withstands wide temperature swings, hot or cold, without breaking. The carafe includes measurement markings for convenience when pouring and the airtight, watertight Stopper allows the concentrate to stay fresh for up to two weeks in the refrigerator.

Rainmaker: The Rainmaker ensures an even distribution of water over the coffee grounds for maximum flavor.

Brew-Release Switch: The Switch automatically turns off when the Carafe is removed allowing users to filter the amount of concentrate desired, instead of having to wait for all the concentrate to drain.

Ultra-fine Stainless Steel Filter: Our ultra-fine, stainless steel mesh filter is reusable, easy to access as well as remove and easy-to-clean.

Paper Filters: To accommodate different taste preferences, we also offer paper filters for those  who prefer an extra layer of filtration.
