Klatch Coffee Roasters Raising 10K to the Hurricane Harvey Relief Cause

RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA – SEPTEMBER 1ST, 2017 – In wake of Hurricane Harvey, Klatch Coffee Roasters of Southern California has announced their planned contribution to the relief causes for the devastating Hurricane Harvey. Klatch will raise and donate $10,000 for The Salvation Army’s disaster efforts from all coffee sales throughout Labor Day Weekend.

Through the past week, Hurricane Harvey has left Texas in a state of crisis that hasn’t been seen since Hurricane Katrina. The storm is expected to leave behind billions of dollars in damages, thousands of people displaced from their homes and families, and the recovery phase is just barely starting. Klatch Coffee Roasters Owner, Mike Perry, has also issued the following challenge to other coffee industry professionals: “We want to challenge other roasters to do the same. Be part of the solution, and to challenge other coffee professionals as well. This is a great time for us to stand united and create hope for those who have lost theirs this week.” Several other coffee roasters have already responded to the message across social media.

While the original plan was for all coffee sales at www.klatchroasting.com, it has spread to include bean sales at Klatch Coffee retail stores in Rancho Cucamonga, Ontario and San Dimas.
