Wega to be an Official Partner of Barista Camp 2016!
Wega Macchine per Caffè is once again to be an Official Partner of Barista Camp, now in its third year. In 2014 the machines of the tricolor brand were flown to Athens, in 2015 they took part in the event in Riccione, and this year, from 10 to 13 October, they will be in Pärnu in Estonia.
Baristas from all across Europe have signed up for this internationally famous event and will be able to take part in a range of professional development sessions organised over four days. They will choose from different educational tracks depending on their particular skills and goals, with all modules offering SCAE Coffee Diploma System certification.
In addition to the lessons and workshops there will also be group lectures and tastings, as well as time to socialise with colleagues and teachers.
Wega is proud to provide some of its most famous machines for these young professionals to use. The different machines available for them to try out range from the super-advanced technology of the My Concept, with its WiFi package and features that are unique in the market, to the manual, lever-operated Vela Vintage favoured by coffee purists; from the feisty electronic version of the Polaris with raised groups, to the fun and funky IO with its exceptional yields.
