Proceeds from Community Coffee Company’s Crescent City Blend Support Coastal Restoration
– A south Louisiana promotion featuring Community® Crescent City Blend® raised funds to support coastal restoration in Louisiana. Community Coffee Company partnered with the Coalition to Restore Coastal Louisiana (CRCL) to increase awareness of and raise funds for this vital effort. Community donated 10 percent of proceeds from Crescent City Blend® purchases.
“Community Coffee is a company that has its origins in Louisiana and has strong connections to the coast,” said Scott Eckert, Vice President of Marketing for Community Coffee. “Our personal connection to this region only makes the issue that much more important to us, and we are committed to preserving the environment where we work, play and serve our rich, smooth coffee.”
CRCL is a non-profit organization with the mission to drive bold, science-based action to rebuild coastal Louisiana through outreach, restoration and advocacy. Community Coffee Company is dedicated to giving back to local communities, and coastal restoration is one of the ways Community accomplishes this important goal.

This is more than a monetary donation for us. The promotion also raised awareness of CRCL and our coastal land loss crisis.”
At the meeting of the CRCL Board, Community Vice President of Marketing Scott Eckert presented a check for $4,596.17 to CRCL in order to further fund coastal restoration in Louisiana.
