Vitamix® Named Best In Class For Sixth Year By Foodservice Equipment & Supplies Magazine

Company Rated Top Beverage and Blender Consultant in Overall, Operator and Dealer Categories

CLEVELAND – Vitamix®, the world leader in high-performance blending equipment for home- and commercial-use, is proud to be recently named Best in Class beverage and blender consultant overall and by dealers and operators by Foodservice Equipment and Supplies (FE&S) magazine. These awards are given to industry manufacturers with products or services that are superior in providing value in multiple ways. This is the fourth consecutive year that Vitamix has been awarded with the Best in Class designation. Since 2007, Vitamix has won numerous category awards including fourteen FE&S Best-in-Class Awards, including Best in Class Overall, Best in Class by Dealers and Best in Class by Operators
FE&S magazine determines the winners based on survey data from the FE&S’ 2012 Best in Class study. Participants surveyed include foodservice operators, dealers and consultants that subscribe to the publication. Each manufacturer is evaluated by the professionals based on seven critical characteristics: product quality, product value, product design and aesthetics, service and support, sales representation, product inventory and availability and product information availability that affects the way foodservice professionals approach purchasing equipment and supplies.
“It’s an honor to know that foodservice operators and dealers see the total value of Vitamix machines,” said Lisa Klein, vice president of commercial sales, Vita-Mix Corporation. “Continuing to win these awards further exemplifies that we are meeting our goals and objectives – providing our customers with the best service, superior products and the latest blending technology. We’re very proud to have earned Best in Class once again this year.”
The seven key attributes are prioritized in order of importance and the individual companies are rated within the given product categories. These results identify manufacturers that FE&S believe are the best in their class for each of the 48 product categories. Winning companies are recognized for setting the bar for not only understanding the needs but also meeting the needs of the entire foodservice community.
Klein said Vitamix continues to meet the needs of the foodservice industry through performance and value. Vitamix brings the lowest total cost of ownership to the industry with high-performance machines that allow for process elimination and help improve workflow, resulting in significant savings in both labor and time. This, in turn, results in considerable cost savings.
A leader in the world commercial blending industry, Vitamix and its products have continued to be honored with industry awards throughout the years by continuing to put customer needs at the center of product development and purpose-driven innovation.
