World of Coffee 2013 Aiming to Break the €39.7 Million Sales Record of 2012

The Speciality Coffee Association of Europe (SCAE) is proud to announce that it will be hosting SCAE World of Coffee, Nice 2013 in the stunning city of Nice, France. With over €39.7 Million* orders placed by visitors to World of Coffee, Vienna in June of this year, SCAE World of Coffee, Nice 2013 is looking to top this figure on 26th-28th June at the Acropolis Convention and Exhibition Centre.


Europe’s premier speciality coffee event is tailor-made for coffee professionals, growers, importers/exporters, roasters, and manufacturers/distributors of equipment and other coffee-related supplies (including bakeries and more). With an expected attendance of up to 5,000 visitors** and representation from over 40 countries, the event is set to be a hotspot for baristas, vendors and foodservice professionals alike.  From restaurants and hotels; coffee shops and leisure centres; snack bars and canteens SCAE World of Coffee, NIce 2013 is an event designed to indulge the needs of every coffee enthused professional from the specialist barista to the mainstream food and beverage suppliers.
SCAE World of Coffee, Nice 2013 is a global 3-day extravaganza incorporating over 100 exhibitors and 4 WORLD COFFEE COMPETITIONS (the World Latte Art Championship; the World Coffee in Good Spirits Championship; the World Cup Tasters Championship and the all new World Coffee Roasting Championship).  The event also stages a WORKSHOP PROGRAMME of certified training courses from SCAE’s COFFEE DIPLOMA SYSTEM and GOLD CUP RESEARCH PROGRAMME.  Recognising talent from within the industry, SCAE World of Coffee 2013 will again host the NEW PRODUCT OF THE SHOW AWARDS and the SCAE AWARDS FOR COFFEE EXCELLENCE.  Once again visitors can enjoy The VILLAGE – a showcase of innovation in the micro roasting/producing sector and TAMPER TANTRUM – a series of talks and debate by notable guest presenters in front of a live audience, which are live- streamed on the internet.  Following the great success of its inaugural feature in Vienna, The SCAE BUSINESS CONFERENCE will be back by popular demand where presenters and delegates will analyse, discuss and debate the key business concerns of the coffee industry.
