We're Freshmen! Hampton Coffee Company Opens At SUNY Stony Brook

Hampton Coffee Company recently opened an espresso bar on the college campus of SUNY Stony Brook. Named the Hampton Coffee Company “Corner Café”, the new location is run by the students and overseen by the university’s Faculty Student Association, Lackmann Culinary Services, and Hampton Coffee Company managers.
The Corner Café is located inside the brand new state-of-the-art West Side Dining building, a stunning 8,000-square-foot green tinted glass building located on the residential side of campus. The espresso bar features Hampton Coffee Company’s full menu of hot and cold espresso beverages, their hand-roasted coffee delivered fresh several times a week, and homemade gelato and bakery items made right on the campus. Corner Café also features Hampton Coffee’s seasonal beverage selections, logoed items, and whole bean coffee to bring home.
This is the first licensee location for the 19-year-old Southampton-based local family-owned coffee company. “We are so proud to have been chosen by Stony Brook University to be their local coffee company,” said Hampton Coffee Company co-owner Jason Belkin. “It is great to be working side-by-side with SUNY students to operate their Hampton Coffee espresso bar on campus and to be able to offer Stony Brook students, faculty, and university guests a hand-roasted local coffee alternative conveniently located on campus.
Hampton Coffee Company is working on opening additional college campus locations on Long Island and in New York City with Compass Group, the international food service parent company of Lackmann Culinary Services. Both companies operate at a variety of different venues through their affiliates around the country.
