OLAM hosts RFA Cupping for Quality
Olam Coffee’s new Purchase, New York office hosted the 2015 Rainforest Alliance Cupping for Quality event the first week of December. The goal of the event is to show the link between best social, ecological and economic sustainability practices and cup quality. Official results are publicized and shared with coffee buyers around the world. This session evaluated 4 submissions from Peru, 15 from Brazil, and 9 from Colombia. This was the first time Olam’s newly SCAA certified lab hosted such an event and participants easily commuted from NYC and surrounding area.
