MELITTA PROFESSIONAL COFFEE SOLUTIONS APPOINTS JULIAN HOLLIS AS NATIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER
Melitta Professional Coffee Solutions announces much-anticipated new addition
A leader in the coffee and coffee preparation industry, Melitta Professional Coffee Solutionshas appointed experienced sales professional, Julian Hollis, as its National Account Manager. This is a sign of the continued investment promised to customers when Melitta launched their UK coffee range earlier in the year.
Julian will add further depth and industry expertise regarding all things coffee and hot beverages to a growing UK customer base. The addition of Julian is a further sign that the clear entry strategy of Melitta into the UK is being welcomed by customers new and old.
Along with a strong existing team in Germany, a new UK Coffee team is being built that will play a pivotal part in introducing the exciting Melitta Professional coffee blends to the UK customer base.
Bringing experience from Glasgow based coffee roaster Matthew Algie, Julian has forged a highly successful and reputable career in coffee. Julian’s previous roles have included driving sales, value and volume with major accounts. Julian also has widespread HORECA experience across independent coffee shops, hotel groups, universities, contract caterers and buying groups.
Speaking about his move to Melitta Professional, Julian comments: “The past three years have seen the coffee market continue to evolve, with a growing demand for consistent, high quality coffee. As a National Account Manager at Melitta, I’m very excited to bring my passion for the industry to such a renowned family business. Working alongside Laura in the UK will be great as we understand the demands and needs of today’s customer and the role of Melitta within it.”
