In just 24 hours, electric pour-over kettle, Stagg EKG reaches 60-day Kickstarter goal of $100,000
SAN FRANCISCO (December 15, 2016) – Fellow’s project started out with one simple question: Can we design an electric pour-over kettle that finally pours as good as it looks?
After 10 months and countless prototypes later, Fellow set the bar high and landed upon Stagg EKG, an electric pour-over kettle with variable temperature control, optional Bluetooth app connectivity, and a stunning, minimalist design.
After launching the product on Kickstarter, Stagg EKG blew past its 60-day $100,000 Kickstarter goal in only 24 hours. To date, Fellow has raised over $103,000 from more than 750 backers.
“The outpouring of support on Kickstarter shows there was a gap in the market needing to be filled,” said Jake Miller, founder and CEO of Fellow. “With Stagg EKG, we were able to meld handsome design and barista-level functionality in one.”
Stagg EKG makes it easy to brew top-notch coffee at home with many innovative features:
Variable Temperature Control – By turning the intuitive twist dial, you select your desired temperature ranging from 135°F to 212°F.
HOLD Option – When the toggle on the back is switched to HOLD mode, Stagg EKG will maintain your desired temperature in Fahrenheit and Celsius for 30 minutes.
Precision Pour Spout – Stagg EKG’s spout is designed for the optimal pour-over flow rate with to-the-drop precision.
Counterbalanced Handle – A weighted handle shifts the center of the mass closer to your hand for an easier pour.
