Bolder Flavors Demand a Bigger Home: Orinoco Moves to Jessup

JESSUP, Md., Dec. 19, 2016 – Orinoco Coffee & Tea, a specialty coffee and tea roaster and provider serving Maryland, D.C., New York, and Virginia, has moved its location.

Orinoco’s master roasters have trained with Italy’s finest espresso artisans and walked among the coffee trees of Ethiopia. Now, they have brought four generations of expertise to Jessup, Md., the site of the company’s new and improved headquarters.

Continued growth necessitated relocation from Orinoco’s previous space in Columbia, Md. In addition to housing top-of-the-line amenities required to prepare and package Orinoco’s catalog of organic, natural, and fair-trade products, the larger facility – at 8265 Patuxent Range Road in Jessup – also features a coffee research and development room, complete with on-site cupping capabilities.
