Community Coffee Company Names Ryan Schemmel VP of Grocery Sales Division

Baton Rouge, LA, December 2017 — Community Coffee Company, the largest family-owned and operated coffee brand in the United States, announced today that Ryan Schemmel has been named vice president of the Grocery Sales Division (GSD). Ryan brings nearly 20 years of experience in marketing, digital development, and grocery with a focus on e-commerce growth and strategy to his new role.

Ryan Schemmel joined Community Coffee Company in August 2017 as the leader of the Grocery National Account Team. Prior to this, he served as vice president of a national condiment company, where he was responsible for one-third of the company’s retail business. Schemmel has also held several positions with other national and international retail brands.

Schemmel has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The University of Southern Mississippi. He will assume his new role in January 2018.

Schemmel replaces retiring Senior Vice President of Sales Steve Frantz, who provided 33 years of service to Community Coffee Company.
