Los Angeles’s own artisanal coffee roaster Caffe Luxxe has announced its new downtown Brentwood location will hold its grand opening at 11640 San Vicente Blvd on Tuesday, December 19. To celebrate its return to the neighborhood, the new caffe will serve free drinks to the public between the hours of 10am and 2pm on grand opening day. In conjunction with the opening, a limited edition “San Vicente Blend” coffee is available now at all Caffe Luxxe locations, brewed by the cup and available for purchase by the bag. Leading up to December 19, the coffee shop is currently holding a soft opening with regular hours every day, 6:30am-6pm.

Caffe Luxxe had previously served the Brentwood community since 2008 from its former location in the historic Barry Building, until closing doors in December 2016 when the property was targeted for demolition. The local business’s new home is located at the Brentwood Town and Country on San Vicente Blvd. and Darlington Ave., joining the center that includes Sugarfish, SoulCycle, and FrontRunners. Caffe Luxxe continues to operate additional locations in the Brentwood Country Mart on 26th St, in Santa Monica on Montana Ave, and in Malibu on Pacific Coast Highway, with plans to open additional caffes in 2018, including a Montecito, CA location.

To mark the occasion, Caffe Luxxe has released a new limited edition coffee named the “San Vicente Blend,” inspired by the neighborhood’s dynamic, vibrant and inviting community. The medium, creamy-bodied coffee has flavor notes of stone fruit, cherry blossom and caramel, a slightly tart acidity, and a sweet, clean finish. A blend of coffees sustainably sourced from the Santa Maria De Dota and Dota Tarrazú regions in Costa Rica, as well as Huehuetenango in Guatemala—from farms Caffe Luxxe has fostered close relationships with over the years—the coffee is hand-roasted in small batches at Caffe Luxxe’s local Il Laboratorio facility. Its roasting team places emphasis on maintaining genuine relationships with farmers, sourcing coffee directly whenever possible, and paying above-market prices to ensure fair labor practices and quality product. About Caffe Luxxe
In 2006, Caffe Luxxe was created by two best friends, Mark Wain and Gary Chau, who quit their corporate jobs to build a dream of owning a local neighborhood caffe.
